The fixed fare starts at €595 in a Mercedes E-Class for up to 3 passengers; groups of up to 6 travel in the V-Class from €660; the S-Class is available from €980 for executive or VIP travel. The fare is fixed when you book: fuel, the Czech motorway vignette, every toll, bottled water, Wi-Fi and child seats on request are all included. Landing at MUC with a long-haul flight behind you, you walk out of Arrivals, sit down and next stand up at your hotel in Prague.
The Route
Munich to Prague
in about four hours.
From a pickup in the Altstadt near Marienplatz, in Schwabing or Maxvorstadt, your chauffeur takes the A9 north out of Munich. From Munich Airport the car reaches the same motorway in a few minutes via the A92. At the Holledau junction the route turns onto the A93 and runs north through the hop fields of the Hallertau to Regensburg and the Danube.
Beyond Regensburg the A93 follows the Naab valley through the Upper Palatinate to the A6, which leads east to the border at Waidhaus–Rozvadov. The crossing is inside Schengen — no stop, no check in normal conditions. The D5 then carries you across West Bohemia, past Plzeň, Rokycany and Beroun, into the southwest of Prague. Total distance is approximately 385 kilometres; driving time is four hours in normal traffic.
The slowest parts are usually at the two ends: the Munich ring at rush hour and the approach into Prague on a Friday afternoon, each worth 20–30 minutes. Your chauffeur checks both before departure and times the pickup or shifts the route to avoid them. You arrive in Prague with the evening ahead of you.

Stops are planned at booking and priced by the extra time and distance — tell us where you would like to stop and we confirm a firm quote before you book. A short coffee or rest stop on the motorway is always included.
The Chauffeur
What to expect
from your driver.
At Munich Airport your chauffeur is inside Arrivals with a name board, already aware of any delay to your flight. In the city they wait at the door of your hotel at the agreed time and handle the luggage from the lobby to the boot.
Four hours is a full working session or a long rest, and you set the tone. Your chauffeur stays quiet when you are busy and is happy to talk Prague when you are not — where your hotel sits, how to get the best of a short stay, which restaurants are worth the booking.
Water, a charger and Wi-Fi are in the cabin from the start. If you want a coffee at the border, a stop in Regensburg or a different temperature in the back, ask. In Prague your chauffeur takes the bags to the hotel reception, not just to the pavement.

Frequently asked questions
How long does a private transfer from Munich to Prague take?
Approximately 4 hours door to door: the A9 and A93 north past Regensburg, the A6 east to the Waidhaus–Rozvadov border, and the D5 past Plzeň into Prague. Rush hour around Munich or Friday traffic into Prague can each add 20–30 minutes.
How much is a taxi or chauffeur from Munich to Prague?
A fixed fare from €595 in a Mercedes E-Class for up to 3 passengers, €660 in the V-Class for up to 6, or €980 in the S-Class. The price includes fuel, the Czech vignette, all tolls and driver time — it is per car, not per person.
Can you pick me up at Munich Airport and drive me straight to Prague?
Yes. Give us your flight number when you book. Your chauffeur tracks the landing, waits inside Arrivals at Munich Airport (MUC) with your name, and drives you directly to your Prague address — there is no need to go into Munich first. Up to 60 minutes of waiting is free.
Is a private transfer better than the train from Munich to Prague?
The direct train runs via Regensburg and Plzeň and takes well over five hours station to station, before the trip to München Hauptbahnhof and a taxi at the Prague end. For a solo traveller with light luggage, train or coach is cheaper; for two or three people, the private car is door to door and costs the same per car.
Can we stop on the way from Munich to Prague?
Yes. Regensburg, Plzeň and Karlštejn Castle are the most popular stops. Tell us at booking and we include the stop in a fixed quote. A short coffee or rest break is always included at no extra cost.
Do I need my passport between Germany and the Czech Republic?
Both countries are in the Schengen Area, so there is no routine border control at Waidhaus–Rozvadov. Carry your passport or EU ID card anyway — spot checks do happen, and non-EU travellers arriving at Munich Airport should keep their documents to hand.
