A private transfer from Wrocław to Prague covers about 285 km — south out of the city toward Kłodzko, across the Czech border at Kudowa-Zdrój and Náchod, then on to Hradec Králové and the D11 motorway into Prague — and takes around three hours door to door. The fixed fare starts at €440 in a Mercedes E-Class for up to 3 passengers; groups of up to 6 travel in the V-Class from €485; the S-Class is available from €725 for executive or VIP travel. Your chauffeur collects you from your hotel near the Rynek, from Wrocław Główny or from Arrivals at Wrocław Airport, and drops you at the door of your Prague hotel, apartment or office.

The fare is set when you book and does not change: fuel, tolls, the Czech motorway vignette, bottled water, Wi-Fi and child seats on request are all included. There is no fast direct train on this route — a private car is the simplest way to get from Lower Silesia to a Prague doorstep.

The Route

Wrocław to Prague
in about three hours.

From a pickup near the Rynek, on Ostrów Tumski or at Wrocław Airport, your chauffeur leaves the city southbound on the S8 expressway and continues through the Kłodzko valley, with the Sudetes rising on both sides. The road passes below the fortress at Kłodzko and climbs gently to the spa town of Kudowa-Zdrój.

The border between Kudowa-Zdrój and Náchod sits inside the Schengen Area: no routine check, no queue, only a change of language on the road signs and Náchod’s château above the town. On the Czech side the road runs west to Hradec Králové, where it joins the D11 motorway for the final stretch across the Elbe lowlands to Prague. Total distance is approximately 285 kilometres; driving time is about three hours. Weekend traffic at the border can add 15–20 minutes.

Your chauffeur checks the route before departure. If the Náchod crossing is slow, they can take the northern line through Liberec instead — a little longer, but steady. You arrive in Prague with the day still in hand: time to check in, then out to Vinohrady or the Old Town for the evening.

Frequently asked questions

How long does a private transfer from Wrocław to Prague take?

About three hours door to door: south through Kłodzko to the border at Kudowa-Zdrój and Náchod, then via Hradec Králové and the D11 into Prague. Busy weekends at the border can add 15–20 minutes.

How much is a taxi or chauffeur from Wrocław to Prague?

A fixed fare from €440 in a Mercedes E-Class for up to 3 passengers, €485 in the V-Class for up to 6, or €725 in the S-Class. Fuel, tolls, the Czech motorway vignette and the chauffeur’s time are included — per car, not per person.

Can you pick me up at Wrocław Airport or Wrocław Główny?

Yes. Give us your flight number and your chauffeur tracks the landing at Wrocław Airport, waits inside Arrivals with your name and drives you straight to Prague. Pickups at Wrocław Główny or any hotel are arranged the same way.

Is a private transfer better than the train or bus from Wrocław to Prague?

There is no fast direct train, and rail journeys usually take longer than the drive with at least one change. Long-distance buses run the route and are the cheapest option for a solo traveller with light bags. A private transfer is door to door, leaves when you want and costs the same for one passenger or three.

Can we stop on the way from Wrocław to Prague?

Yes. Kłodzko, Náchod and Hradec Králové are the usual requests. Tell us at booking and we include the stop in a fixed quote. A short coffee or rest break is always included.

Do I need my passport between Poland and the Czech Republic?

Both countries are in the Schengen Area, so there is no routine border control at Kudowa-Zdrój and Náchod. Carry your passport or EU ID card anyway — spot checks happen, and non-EU travellers must have their documents with them.
