A private transfer from Bratislava to Prague covers 330 km — north on the D2 motorway to the Czech border at Brodské–Lanžhot, past Břeclav to Brno, then the D1 across the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands to Prague — and takes approximately 3.5 hours door to door. The fixed fare starts at €510 in a Mercedes E-Class for up to 3 passengers; groups of up to 6 travel in the V-Class from €565; the S-Class is available from €840 for executive or VIP travel. Your chauffeur collects you at your hotel in the Old Town, an office along the Danube, Bratislava main station or Bratislava Airport, and drops you at the door of your Prague hotel, apartment or meeting.
The fare is agreed before you travel and does not move. Fuel, tolls, the Slovak and Czech motorway vignettes, bottled water, Wi-Fi and child seats on request are included. One car from door to door, and no second taxi to find in Prague.
The Route
Bratislava to Prague
in three and a half hours.
From a pickup in Staré Mesto, below the castle, in the new riverside quarter or at Bratislava Airport, your chauffeur heads north out of the city on the D2. The motorway crosses the flat, pine-wooded Záhorie lowland along the Morava valley to the Czech border at Brodské–Lanžhot. Both countries are in Schengen, so there is no stop — and with Czech and Slovak so close, even the road signs barely change.
On the Czech side the D2 runs past Břeclav and the vineyards of South Moravia to Brno, where it joins the D1 for the final 205 km to Prague through the Vysočina highlands. Total distance is approximately 330 kilometres; driving time is three and a half hours in normal traffic. Friday afternoons into Prague can add 20–30 minutes.
Your chauffeur checks the D1 before departure. If there are roadworks or an accident between Brno and Jihlava, they take the alternative without asking. You arrive in Prague with time to check in, change and walk to dinner.

The Chauffeur
What to expect
from your driver.
Your chauffeur meets you at the entrance of your Bratislava hotel or office, at the time you agreed. At Bratislava Airport they wait inside the Arrivals hall with a name board and help with the luggage all the way to the car.
The drive is about three and a half hours, and how you spend it is up to you. Answer email, prepare for a meeting, or rest. If you are visiting Prague for the first time, your chauffeur can tell you which district your hotel is in, when the Old Town is quietest and how to get to the Castle.
Water, a charger and Wi-Fi are already in the cabin. If you want a coffee near Brno or a cooler cabin, just say. In Prague your chauffeur brings the bags to the hotel reception, not only to the kerb.

Frequently asked questions
How long does a private transfer from Bratislava to Prague take?
Approximately 3 hours 30 minutes door to door: the D2 north to the Brodské–Lanžhot border, past Břeclav to Brno, then the D1 to Prague. Friday afternoon traffic into Prague can add 20–30 minutes.
How much is a taxi or chauffeur from Bratislava to Prague?
A fixed fare from €510 in a Mercedes E-Class for up to 3 passengers, €565 in the V-Class for up to 6, or €840 in the S-Class. The price includes fuel, all tolls, the Slovak and Czech vignettes and driver time — it is per car, not per person.
Can you pick me up at Bratislava Airport and drive me straight to Prague?
Yes. Send us your flight number when you book. Your chauffeur tracks the landing, waits inside Arrivals at Bratislava Airport (BTS) with your name, and drives you directly to your Prague address. Up to 60 minutes of waiting at the airport is free.
Is a private transfer better than the train from Bratislava to Prague?
The direct train takes around four hours station to station, before you add the trip to Bratislava main station and a taxi at the Prague end. A private car is door to door, leaves when you want and costs the same for one passenger or three. For a solo traveller with light luggage, the train is the cheaper option.
Can we stop on the way from Bratislava to Prague?
Yes. Lednice, Brno and Telč are the most popular stops. Tell us at booking and we include the stop in a fixed quote. A short coffee or rest break is always included at no extra cost.
Do I need my passport between Slovakia and the Czech Republic?
Both countries have been in the Schengen Area since 2007, so there is no routine border control at Brodské–Lanžhot. Carry your passport or EU ID card anyway — spot checks happen, and non-EU travellers must have their documents with them.
