The Route
Prague to Zlín
across Moravia.
From a Prague pickup in Old Town, Vinohrady, Malá Strana, or Václav Havel Airport, your chauffeur takes the D1 motorway east through the Bohemian–Moravian Highlands and on through Brno. From Brno, the road branches south onto the D55 or continues east on Highway 50 through the Moravian wine country toward the Zlín region. There is no border crossing — the entire route is within the Czech Republic, so no passport checks and no vignette changes.
Zlín itself is unlike any other Czech city. It is the functionalist company town built by the shoemaker Tomáš Baťa in the 1920s and 1930s, a planned industrial city of unmistakable red-brick grids, flat roofs, and glass stairwells. The 21st building — Baťa's skyscraper, finished in 1938 — was one of the first high-rise buildings in Europe and still anchors the skyline. The Baťa Villa, the preserved factory halls, and the Zlín Film Studios sit within walking distance of each other. The Zlín Film Studios are one of the oldest animation centres in Europe, and the city hosts the Zlín Film Festival for Children and Youth every year — the oldest event of its kind in the world, running since 1961.
Total distance is approximately 310 kilometres. Driving time is around three and a half hours. Friday afternoons out of Prague add 20–30 minutes, and your chauffeur checks D1 conditions before every departure. You are not paying for traffic; you are paying for time.

The Chauffeur
What to expect
from your driver.
Your chauffeur will meet you in front of your pickup address — whether that is a hotel in central Prague, an office in Karlín, or Václav Havel Airport. At the airport, they are inside the arrivals hall with a Prestigo tablet displaying your name.
Conversation is a choice. If you want a quiet cabin for three and a half hours of work or rest, the chauffeur will read that signal and let you be. If you want context on Zlín — the Baťa company town legacy, the social experiment of a factory city planned around its workers, the red-brick functionalist architecture that came out of it, the long Czech animation tradition at the Zlín Film Studios, the post-1989 industrial transformation of the region — your chauffeur knows it.
Phone charger, bottled water, and WiFi are already in the cabin. If you need a specific temperature in the rear cabin, say so. Roughly halfway across, your chauffeur will stop at a real rest stop on the D1 — coffee, fuel, and five quiet minutes outside the car. That is included.
