A private transfer from Prague to Graz covers 450 km and takes approximately 4.5 hours door to door. Fixed fare starts at €745 in a Mercedes E-Class for up to 3 passengers; groups of up to 6 travel in the V-Class from €855; the S-Class is available from €1,105 for executive or VIP travel. Every booking includes the driver's time, fuel, Czech, Slovak, and Austrian motorway vignettes, bottled water, onboard Wi-Fi, phone charger, and child seats on request at no extra cost. Nothing is added at drop-off. The fare is agreed before departure and does not change regardless of traffic or waiting time at your destination. Stops en route — Brno, Vienna, or Wiener Neustadt — are available at the fixed fare when arranged at booking. Your chauffeur monitors traffic before every departure and reroutes without asking if there is a delay.
This is not a shared shuttle. Not a ride-hail app. A private Mercedes, one chauffeur, and a fare that does not change.
The Route
Prague to Graz
in four and a half hours.
From a Prague pickup in Old Town, Vinohrady, Malá Strana, or the airport, your chauffeur takes the D1 east through the Bohemian-Moravian highlands to Brno, then turns south toward the Slovak border. From there the road becomes the D2 for a brief crossing of the Slovak corner, around the Bratislava bypass on the D4, and over into Hungary on the M15 and M1 heading toward Vienna. The final leg runs south from Vienna on the Austrian A2, climbing through the Semmering pass and the green hills of Styria into Graz. On lighter days, a shorter alternative runs D1 to D2 to the S6 at Vienna, then the same A2 south.
The Czech–Slovak border at Břeclav, the Slovak–Hungarian border at Rajka, and the Hungarian–Austrian crossing are all inside Schengen — invisible, no stops, no document checks. You arrive at the UNESCO Old Town, one of the best-preserved historic centres in Central Europe, with the Schloßberg and the Uhrturm rising above the Mur and the Kunsthaus — the friendly alien — glowing blue across the river.
Your chauffeur watches Friday-afternoon outbound traffic from Prague and the Semmering weather before every departure. If there is a closure, they reroute without asking. You are not paying for traffic; you are paying for time.

The Chauffeur
What to expect
from your driver.
Your chauffeur will meet you at Václav Havel Airport or in front of your central Prague address — not a parking lot across the street, not a meeting point a ten-minute walk away. At the airport, they are inside the arrivals hall with a Prestigo tablet displaying your name, and the black Mercedes is already parked at the door.
Conversation is a choice. If you want a quiet cabin for four hours of work or rest, the chauffeur will read that signal and let you be. If you want context on Graz — the Habsburg imperial seat era when it was one of the capitals of Inner Austria, the UNESCO listing of the Old Town in 1999, the UNESCO City of Design title earned in 2011, or the Styrian traditions of crisp white wine and dark pumpkin seed oil from the hills south of the city — your chauffeur knows it.
Phone charger, bottled water, and WiFi are already in the cabin. Temperature is set to your preference. A real rest stop is planned halfway — usually a proper Raststätte on the D1 near Brno or on the Austrian A2 before Graz — not a petrol pump beside the motorway.

Frequently asked questions
How long does a private transfer from Prague to Graz take?
Approximately 4.5 to 5 hours door-to-door. The route runs east on the D1 motorway through Brno, south across the Slovak and Hungarian corners into Austria, and down the A2 through Styria into Graz. Traffic around Prague during Friday afternoon rush hour can add 20 to 30 minutes.
How much does a chauffeur from Prague to Graz cost?
Fixed fare from €745 in Mercedes E-Class (up to 3 passengers), €855 in V-Class (up to 6 passengers), or €1,105 in S-Class. Prices include fuel, the Czech motorway vignette, the Austrian motorway vignette, Styrian tunnel tolls, and driver time. No hidden charges.
Can I book a same-day round trip to Graz?
It is workable but heavy. A round trip is close to ten hours on the road before any time on site, so most clients choose to overnight in Graz and return the next morning. If you need the chauffeur to move around the city with you, add hourly city rental from €40/hour.
Are there border crossings on the way?
Yes, one or two depending on the routing. The Czech–Slovak border at Břeclav and the Slovak–Hungarian border at Rajka, or alternatively the Slovak–Austrian border near Bratislava. All are inside the Schengen Area — no passport checks, no stops. Non-EU passengers should carry valid travel documents as a precaution.
Is a child seat available?
Yes. Rear-facing infant seats, forward-facing toddler seats, and booster seats are available at no extra cost. Please specify your child's age at booking so the correct seat is installed before pickup.
Can the chauffeur speak German?
A German-speaking chauffeur is available on request, which many clients appreciate for a Graz run. Every Prestigo chauffeur speaks fluent English and Czech as standard.
