Taxi rank or pre-booked car —
the honest difference.
When you walk out of Arrivals at PRG, you can take a car from the rank outside or a car you booked in advance. Both get you to the city. The difference is what you know, and when you know it.
With a car from the rank, the final fare depends on the meter, the route and the traffic on the day. With Prestigo, you agree the price when you book, before you leave home. Your driver is already inside the terminal when you come through the doors, and there is no line to stand in after a long flight.
We are not a street taxi. We do not pick up passengers at the rank, and every journey is booked ahead. That is the point: the car, the driver and the fare are settled before your plane touches down.
Why pre-book
What changes when the car
is booked in advance.
Price known before you fly
The fare you see at checkout is the fare you pay. No meter, no surcharge for night arrivals, no extra for traffic on the motorway into the city.
No queue at the kerb
Your driver waits inside the Arrivals hall with a name board — Terminal 1 for non-Schengen flights, Terminal 2 for Schengen. You walk out to a person, not to a line.
Late flights covered
We track your flight live. If you land at midnight or two hours late, the driver adjusts, and 60 minutes of waiting after landing costs nothing.
Room for luggage
An E-Class takes up to three passengers. A V-Class takes six passengers and six large bags, so a family or a group travels in one car at one price.
Recent Mercedes cars
E-Class, S-Class and V-Class, every vehicle under three years old, with Wi-Fi, water and a phone charger on board.
Child seats at no charge
Infant, toddler and booster seats are free on request. Tell us the child’s age at booking and the seat is fitted before pickup.

04
Straight to the address
About 25 minutes to the Old Town or Smíchov, around 30 to Vinohrady or Holešovice. The price stays the same whatever the traffic.
District by district
How long, and how much,
to each part of Prague.
Prague Airport is about 20 km northwest of the centre. In normal daytime traffic, the drive takes around 25 minutes to the Old Town, Wenceslas Square or Smíchov, about 28 minutes to Nusle and Pankrác, and around 30 minutes to Vinohrady, Žižkov, Holešovice and Letná. Karlín is about 32 minutes. Allow five to ten minutes more in the morning and evening rush.
The fare does not change with the district or the clock. Inside Prague, an E-Class costs from €59, a V-Class for up to six from €76 and an S-Class from €120 — per car, not per person, with tolls included.
Whatever car you take from any airport, a few habits keep the fare fair: agree the price before you set off, use a licensed service you can identify, and ask for a receipt at the end. Pre-booking does all three for you — the price, the company and the driver are on your confirmation before you travel.
